  • If you want to purchase an Alpha-Stim for yourself, you may place the order here and prepay with a credit card, using our secure PayPal service. Or you may mail us a check or money order. Either way, before we can ship your order, we must receive a signed order ("prescription") from a medical practitioner licensed in your state to diagnose and treat depression, anxiety, insomnia, or pain. Examples of practitioners who may "prescribe" an Alpha-Stim for your use may include (depending upon the regulations in the state in which they are licensed) Medical Doctors, Nurse Practitioners, Psychologists, Clinical Social Workers, Naturopathic Physicians, Chiropractors, and Physical Therapists.

    Follow these two simple steps to buy your Alpha-Stim device and supplies from Mind-Body Electric.

    STEP 1. Send Us The Prescription.
    (If you are buying supplies or accessories, but not a stimulator, proceed to Step 2.)

    Alpha-Stim stimulators are regulated in the Unites States by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA). They may be sold only to or by licensed medical practitioners. Mind-Body Electric can sell you an Alpha-Stim stimulator, but we must receive a "prescription" signed by a Licensed Medical Practitioner before we can ship the device to you. The prescription is just a note to the effect that the practitioner is familiar with your case, understands the few situations in which use of Alpha-Stim treatment is not indicated, and recommends that you use a particular kind of Alpha-Stim stimulator. The prescription must contain the following information:
                Your name
                Type of Alpha-Stim stimulator you need
                Name and address of Licensed Medical Practitioner
                Email address or FAX number of Practitioner (for confirmation message)
                Type and serial number of practitioner's license
                Signature of Licensed Medical Practitioner

    You may download and print a standard "Statement of Medical Necessity" and have your practitioner fill it in. This will serve as a prescription. Or the practitioner may provide the required information in a letter. Either you or the prescriber may send the prescription to us, by mail or FAX.
